We are looking for financially qualified individuals who want to build a local business in this fast-growing car key replacement industry. Candidates should also ideally have experience in the automotive space; however, sales or business ownership experience is not required, as we can teach you what it takes to own and operate our locksmith franchise model. You should be a full-time, hands-on operator and actively involved in the business’s day-to-day operations. You may also be required to be certified in locksmith services, depending on the state or area in which your franchise operates. We also expect all our franchise owners to become members of the National Automotive Service Task Force (NASTF). But don’t worry: we will provide professional guidance as you secure the necessary certifications and memberships. No matter your automotive background or experience, if you love serving people and providing solutions, this might just be the right opportunity for you.

To show you how the right suite of tools and services can help you run your business more effectively, you will receive complete training on all aspects of running a Car Key Store Franchise. This will consist of virtual training followed by the 14-day initial training program conducted at our corporate headquarters. On-site training in your local territory will occur for up to three days during your launch period. In your training you will learn operations, marketing, vendor relationships, inventory and equipment maintenance, and so much more.  You will see what your future can look like, because we operate our business just like you our franchise owners.  We will always be available via phone and email when you need us, and you will have exclusive access to our confidential operations manual.

The estimated initial investment necessary to begin operations ranges from $118,000 to $183,200, which includes the Initial Franchise Fee of $35,000. As with any new venture, it’s important to have adequate capital to fund the initial business growth stages.

We do not provide direct financing to franchise owners, but we may refer to you to financing sources on a case-by-case basis.

We collect a 10% royalty fee on Net Revenues on a weekly basis. A technology fee of $25 per week may be expected for website presence, access to approved/customized software platforms, and other technology tools. Fees such as these allow us to fund our ongoing support services and the continued development of techniques and procedures, marketing tools, training programs, and systems upgrades.  For a full list of fees and requirements, please refer to our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD).

Franchise owners will contribute 1% of Net Revenues on a weekly basis into the brand marketing fund.  Collected funds will be used to develop marketing strategies to promote The Car Key Store franchise and cover the creative costs to develop brand marketing materials and campaigns.  Franchisees will also be required to invest in local area marketing.  Franchise owners are expected to spend at least $5,000 on their Grand Opening, within the first 60 days of operation. Subsequently, franchisees shall pay $1,000 per month in local store marketing until Net Revenues reach $10,000 per month, at which point payment will be 1% of Net Revenues weekly.

The initial term of your agreement is five years, and franchise owners have the right to three renewal terms of five years each.
